Yes, providers with valid NPI and licensing can prescribe medications directly within the MobilityPS platform.
Do I need marketing experience to use MobilityPS?
No, we initially handle the marketing tasks for you and transition them to you when you’re ready.
Do I have to use paid advertising?
No, we start by focusing on your existing customer base and teach you how to use organic marketing methods.
Does MobilityPS work with Google Ads?
Yes, it integrates with Google Ads for those interested in paid advertising.
What if I don't use email or SMS marketing?
You’ll need to set up your own SMS and email accounts, but we assist you in the initial setup.
What lab tests does MobilityPS offer?
Currently, we offer testing for Covid-19, Flu, and RSV through our CLIA-approved lab.
Do I need to request tests manually?
No, the software automates this process, including insurance verification.
Will patients receive their test results?
Yes, they receive secure links via email and SMS to access their test results.
How long do test results take?
For our 3-in-1 COVID-19, Flu, and RSV test, the turnaround time is 24 hours after the lab receives the sample. Turnaround time will vary by test as we add them.
Is shipping for test samples free?
Yes, we provide pre-paid UPS HealthCare labels for shipping samples to our lab.
Does MobilityPS offer rapid tests?
No, we only offer laboratory tests, and we process all tests in our molecular diagnostic lab.
Does MobilityPS verify insurance?
Yes, it offers real-time insurance verification through photos of insurance cards or manual entry of policy numbers.
What if insurance isn't verified in advance of the appointment?
You designate whether customers use manual or OCR entry when scheduling an appointment. IF they entered it with an error and it is not verified, we let you know and you can flag these cases and manually verify insurance when the patient arrives for their appointment. You will designate patients to re-verify manually with your oversight, or they can utilize an OCR scan when they arrive.
Does MobilityPS handle billing?
Yes. It offers a complete medical billing service and can process credit/debit card payments for cash pay services.
Do I have to switch my current medical billing service?
No. You can continue with your current billing service and switch to MobilityPS’s billing service later. Mobility will still handle all billing for its laboratory diagnostic products offered to your pharmacy.
For what types of medical provider services will MobilityPS provide billing services?
Beyond the laboratory diagnostics that MobilityPS offers to your pharmacy, we will manage claims to insurers for any medical product or service such as a long-acting injection (opioids, antipsychotics, vitamin B-12, progesterone, etc.), a vaccination (Covid-19, Flu, Pneumonia, etc.), dispensing (naloxone, epi autoinjectors, etc.), any POC test (Covid-19, Mononucleosis, Strep, etc.), or a consult (MTMs, Travel Consults, Birth Control Consults, etc.)
Does MobilityPS handle managed care plans in and out-of-network clearinghouse enrollments for my pharmacy?
Yes, we handle in-network and out-of-network enrollments for your pharmacy’s NPI.
Does MobilityPS handle credentialing for participating with payors for my Pharmacy?
We can. Typically, the pharmacy will already be credentialed with Medicare, Medicaid, and other payers it commonly encounters, so this will not be necessary. MobilityPS can handle this if required and will charge an additional one-time fee at an established time and materials rate within the agreement.
Can MobilityPS offer billing services for a healthcare provider under a CPA with the Pharmacy?
Yes. The Provider may often want to utilize their existing billing service. MobilityPS can accommodate them if you and the provider agree that this is how you want to handle reimbursement for the Provider when working with your Pharmacy within MobilityPS.
What reporting can I expect from the MobilityPS billing service?
Standard monthly accounts receivable, cash collections, and billing issues reporting. Custom billing report development is available as needed.
